Katy female undergoes Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy | Case 64470

This Katy area female patient consulted with Dr. Bidros after being diagnosed with right breast cancer, invasive lobular carcinoma. She underwent a Mastectomy and radiation therapy prior to her consultation with Dr. Bidros. Dr. Bidros thoroughly explained her Breast Reconstruction options, which would include a 2 phase surgery. Dr. Bidros performed the 1st phase of reconstruction with right stacked DIEP / SIEA flaps. Her 2nd phase of reconstruction, included a right Mastopexy (breast lift) and Nipple Reconstruction. Dr. Bidros also performed a full thickness skin graft and fat grafting to her upper right breast wall and axilla. To achieve breast symmetry, a Breast Reduction was performed on her left breast.
