Houston female has Breast Reconstruction | Case 23427

This Houston area female patient consulted with Dr. Bidros with a diagnosis of left breast cancer. Dr. Bidros explained her Breast Reconstruction options. Dr. Bidros performed her Breast Reconstruction in two phases. The first phase included a Left DIEP flap and insertion of strattice on her left side. During this surgery, Dr. Bidros removed skin from her abdomen to use during the DIEP flap. The patient benefited from a tummy tuck. During the second phase, Dr. Bidros performed left breast reconstruction, left areola reconstruction and left breast mastopexy (breast lift). Fat grafting was performed to her upper chest wall. To achieve symmetry, a right breast mastopexy (breast lift) was performed.
