Houston female has Breast Reconstruction | DIEP flap | Case 26202

This Houston area female patient consulted with Dr. Bidros following a breast cancer diagnosis. She wanted to learn about her options for Breast Reconstruction. Dr. Bidros went over her options and came up with a surgery plan, which would include two separate surgeries. Dr. Bidros performed her initial Breast Reconstruction, which included left breast DIEP flap and right breast Stacked DIEP & SIEA flaps. These flap make use of the patients own tissue and skin from her abdomen. She benefited from a Tummy Tuck during this procedure. Strattice was also inserted during this surgery. During her second surgery, Dr. Bidros performed bilateral Mastopexies, bilateral Fat Grafting to upper chest wall, bilateral nipple and areola reconstruction and Alloderm was inserted. The final stage of her reconstruction was areola tattooing, which was performed in the office.
