Meet Rubi - Patient Coordinator

Rubi has over 8 years of knowledge and experience in the bariatric and reconstructive/plastic surgery field. After making a personal commitment of recreating a happier and healthier version of herself, she researched and used multiple avenues available in the medical industry; by undergoing a gastric bypass in 2006, she transformed her body, then tailored it with various reconstructive surgeries to fit her unique desires. She joined our team in 2013, and has used her passion, beauty techniques and insider’s experience to become a true patient advocate. As patient coordinator for Rafi S. Bidros, M.D., P.A., she aides patients with thorough understanding of procedures while facilitating the highest level of patient satisfaction. Her vast knowledge of insurance policy standards makes her an integral part of the practice and a great resource for our patients when needing to move forward using their insurance benefits to cover medically necessary procedures. She is able to connect with patients on a personal level to truly understand their goals and desires.
